Information for Bayshore Education Center
The Bayshore Education Center (BEC) is a 501 © 3 non- profit organization founded in 2004. The mission of the Bayshore Education Center (BEC) is to provide quality educational and out of school programs for low-income and ELL (English Language Learners) families to prepare them for success in all aspects. In 2013, BEC served 500+ children from low-income families in East Naples and Golden Gate communities.
BEC welcomes the idea of partnering with social entrepreneurs in the community to share in a common goal of providing quality educational and out of school programs for low-income and ELL (English Language Learners) families to prepare them for success in all aspects. In order to do this we are in need of your courteous tax-deductible contributions. We welcome your gifts no matter how small or big.
BEC has always relied on the benevolent hearts of teachers, volunteers, local individuals and businesses and the like, in order to ensure that its programs are a success, which in turn promotes the success of the children served. Over the years, this formula has enabled us the continuity and sustainability to provide these services with effectiveness and efficiency to the children served. Funding has never been allowed to be the determining factor in whether or not these services are provided. More than seven years later, our commitment to this vision of offering quality educational services to these children has not wavered. In addition to efficiently operate our programs, we continue to increase the number of community partners with a similar passion to provide the services to these students. We partner with individuals, businesses, other non-profit organizations, teachers, former professional athletes, schools and community leaders to join hands in our efforts to provide quality educational and “out of school,” programs to low-income families in our community.
