PAWS (Pets Are Worth Saving) Homes

So how did PAWS (Pets Are Worth Saving) Homes get started? Well here’s the story…The very first time I met Jill Craft I asked her “What would you do if time and money were not obstacles?” Her answer was quick and simple “Start an Animal Rescue Foundation and raise lawmaker awareness of the cruelty to animals.”  Not only is Jill is a wonderful person, but she’s also an avid animal lover and has a rescue dog and two cats of her own. I also have a rescue dog. So being that we are both CT licensed REALTORs, we decided to combine “Love for Animals and Real Estate “… and that’s how PAWS Homes was born.

Our mission is simple.

Help animal lovers to buy or sell homes, plus on behalf of our clients, we'll donate 10% of our net real estate sales commission to "no kill" 501-(c)3 pet shelters/charities of their choice.

Occasionally people will ask us “Why donate to animals when there are so many human related organizations that need help?”  Our answer is “We are donating to humans!” Ask any animal lover or pet owner and they will tell you how animals have healed them, provided companionship and sometimes even a reason to live.  In fact, over the years our donations have not only gone to supporting “paws” but also “hooves”, “wings” etc.  For example, we have donated to partners that provide therapeutic horseback riding to people with cerebral palsy, brain injuries, autism and cancer. Again, just another testament of the wonderful gifts animals can bring to us humans.

So if you’re an animal lover (or not) and in the market of buying or selling a home, give us a call.  We are professional, ethical realtors that not only will assist you in your real estate needs but also help animal shelters/charities of your choice.
